Growing Monthly Orders by 1508% for a Saudi Home Goods Store

From 1,019 to 16,400+ monthly orders on Meta and TikTok in under 3 months, growing monthly sales from 235K to 3.505M SAR with fewer than 10 products, on platforms the owner had written off.

Main Challenge Overview

Target Market

Saudi Arabia, with online payment nationwide and cash on delivery in Riyadh only

Platforms

Meta (Facebook and Instagram), then TikTok, after the in-house team had relied mainly on another ad platform

Business Type

Saudi home goods brand with fewer than 10 products and a 213 SAR average order value

Core Challenge

Scale spend as far as possible at a minimum 4x ROAS, starting from about 55K SAR a month that brought in only around 1,000 orders

Order Growth

Orders in 24 Hours

Around 3,700 orders in a single day, worth about 790K SAR in sales

Monthly Sales (SAR)

Monthly sales reached 3.505M SAR from just 10 products

Orders and sales, month by month

Goals & KPIs

Increase orders and revenue within the first 30 days

Push spend as high as possible while ROAS stays at 4x or above; volume comes first, not ROAS above target

First milestone: 50K SAR monthly spend on Meta alone at 4x ROAS

Prove that Meta and TikTok can scale in Saudi Arabia, despite the common view that they cannot

Challenges

Fewer than 10 products, so any stock issue hit the numbers directly and left little room for testing

No full view of real store sales because of technical issues with the e-commerce platform, so decisions relied on ad-platform dashboards only

Conversions were double-counted in the tracking setup and had to be rebuilt to give conservative, trustworthy numbers

Hard to scale: any new campaign or strategy shook the numbers, and TikTok campaigns dropped off a day or two after launch

Keeping performance stable while the store's hosting platform struggled with rising order volume

Pitching a completely new plan and carrying its risk, with daily and weekly reporting to the marketing manager instead of monthly

Our Tactics

Audited the store, tracking and analytics: conversion rate was above 3%, so we kept the purchase flow and improved it gradually based on the numbers

Moved tracking to a browser pixel through Tag Manager after finding duplicated orders, keeping the numbers conservative and decisions confident

Ran 100+ fast tests per ad across attribution windows, audiences, placements and objectives, one step at a time so results stayed stable

Found the winning audience for each ad format, plus the best hours of the day and best days of the month to spend

Requested a side cart that opens after add-to-cart with a checkout button, a small change that clearly lifted the numbers

Intensified retargeting of cart abandoners from the last 7 days and past buyers with special offers

How We Started

Read the available analytics: men converted better than women, Facebook beat Instagram, and about 90% of buyers purchased within the first day

Previous campaigns targeted women only on Instagram with a 7-day attribution window, so we started with automatic placements, men and women, and a 1-day window

Split winning audiences into men, women, lookalikes and pay-cycle segments (start, middle and end of the month), with Riyadh-only campaigns where cash on delivery is available

What We Did

Tested many formats: single image, single video, manual carousel, dynamic catalog, collection ads and dynamic creative
Judged each video by its conversion rate, not just CTR: practical videos showing several uses of a product and voice-over customer reviews converted best
Kept trending-music videos because they reach a different customer segment, and kept remixing the best videos into new versions
On TikTok: tested lowest-cost vs cost-cap bidding, value optimisation with a minimum ROAS, and iOS-only and women-only audiences, which converted best
TikTok structure with ad-group budgets: 2 to 4 ad groups, 10 to 30 videos and 5 texts, giving 100+ ad variations that ran for long periods with stable results
Retargeting with carousels where each card shows one product feature, and a catalog that surfaced other products after adding bundles as separate items
Designs and videos promoting instalment payment options from mid-month until payday, which lifted that period in most months

Scaling & Results

Timing the Spend

Budgets were raised in the best hours (10 PM to 1 AM) and on the best days of the month; the first 3 days of May alone spent 125,157 SAR at 5.8x ROAS

On Meta Alone

Monthly Meta orders grew from 700 to 7,500, spend from 42K to 335K SAR and sales from 173K to 1.605M SAR, with more than 1,800 orders in a single day at 5.8x ROAS

Meta and TikTok Combined

Monthly orders grew from 1,019 to 16,400+, spend from 54K to 747K SAR and sales from 235K to 3.505M SAR; the best day brought 3,700 orders and more than 790K SAR

Patience While Scaling

Jumping daily spend from 5K to 20K SAR in early April dropped ROAS to 2x; scaling gradually afterwards made 120K+ SAR days possible with strong results
